The Will County Legal Assistance Program, Inc. (WCLAP) is a not-for- profit provider of legal services to low income and indigent residents of Will County. Since 1973 WCLAP has been dedicated to providing quality legal services to over 2500 people per year. WCLAP staff includes four attorneys as well as a senior citizen paralegal advocate who is solely devoted to the legal needs of Will County's seniors. WCLAP PROVIDES civil legal assistance in several areas of law including but not limited to:
- Domestic Violence
- Family Law
- Consumer Law
- Housing/Eviction Cases
- Public Benefits
- Senior Citizens
The Will County Legal Assistance Program, Inc offers free legal services for low income persons and those over 60 who have serious civil legal problems and need legal help to solve them. It also conducts a pro bono referral program to bring together volunteer private attorneys and low income and elderly individuals who can not afford an attorney.
